Telehealth crisis services offer a brief, solution oriented intensive online crisis & counseling support program designed to help you navigate a specific crisis situation. Unlike a traditional weekly counseling session with your therapist, crisis support provides frequent weekly access for a one month period via telephone, live video, email and/or text messaging. The intention of this service is to provide you with readily applicable skills and rational perspectives to help navigate difficult, challenging and perhaps life altering situations.
A crisis can be a dangerous situation and can be traumatizing. It can also be an opportunity. A crisis is a pivot point; decisions need to be made. What makes a crisis situation challenging is that we don’t make the best decisions and can actually become indecisive precisely when we need to make important decisions. Part of the telehealth crisis support service is to quickly counter any traumatizing influence and reclaim decision making functions. The crisis support is intentionally short lived, as crisis do pass soon. How it passes, how it is dealt with, can make all the difference.
Telehealth crisis service and online crisis counseling & support is a blend between a personal coach and a professional counselor for a short intensive intervention. The information and techniques presented are specifically tailored to you and your situation. The crisis response approach you learn will have value for years to come as crisis is a feature of transitional times. There are limits to the number of clients accepted during any one month.
